Photography has always played a big part in my life, I had the grandparents that kept boxes and boxes full of old photos in the basement, the mom that created a scrapbook for just about every occasion and I was the kid at summer camp that showed up with more disposable cameras than I probably did pairs of socks. Although it's never been about the "perfect image", it was and always has been about capturing the real moments happening within the image. The photos that tell the story, the ones that make you feel the emotions of the events unfolding in front of you.
I apply that same approach to my wedding photography. Don't get me wrong I love a perfectly composed portrait and a beautifully laid detail shot, but the true magic is when the beauty, emotion and moments of your day unfold naturally. Whether it's your partner's reaction to seeing you come down the isle, the teary eyes as you exchange private vows or even getting down on the dance floor after a cocktail or two. I want to make sure I tell the story of your wedding day.
It's important you find someone whose work you LOVE, but I believe it is just as important you find someone who will bring out the best of who you are in your photos! I like to think of myself as the perfect balance of blending in with the party while also being there to direct the day as needed. "EmForever" doesn't have some crazy story, special meaning or unbelievable reasoning behind it, I created it as my username in grade school and I don’t know how, but it’s stuck with me since!

Outside of photography you can find me spending time with my kids, binging re-runs of the Law & Order's, trying out a new recipe or exploring somewhere new!

Chai lattes, drama tv series, rollerblading and a good food truck!
